We are currently seeking a Lead Full Stack Web Developer (Front & Backend) to support our operations at our office in central Vienna.

Successful candidates will have strong technical proficiency, a sound analytical background, the ability to effectively manage project work and interact with others as well as a hands-on mentality.

 

Tasks & responsibilities include:

  • Leading development of our in-house web app
  • Taking responsibility for advancement and optimisation of the company’s webpages
  • Creating complex computational queries and analyses
  • Programming of complex databases
  • Development of intranet pages including SQL linking

 

You:

  • Possess excellent knowledge of Visual Studio as well as ASP.net / C# / CSS / JavaScript / JQuery / Bootstrap
  • Have sound experience with Microsoft SQL Server / SQL Programming and programmes such as React, Elasticsearch, Entity Framework
  • Work diligently and adhere to high quality standards
  • Are a team player and effective communicator
  • Have an analytical mind-set and enjoy working with numbers 
  • Possess spoken and written fluency in English and/or German
  • Ideally have 2 or more years of experience in a web developing role
  • Know your way around VBA / Excel modules
  • Hold a valid Austrian work permit

  • Conduct requirement analysis, conception and planning of projects, definition of specifications for developers
  • Run proof of concept / technical feasibility tests

You:

Tasks & responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to IT projects as well as programming and testing a variety of tools
  • Servicing, maintaining and optimizing a state-of-the-art IT infrastructure 
  • Implementing and administering networks and IT security environments including firewalls
  • Supporting management and colleagues in IT-related issues, such as setting up and administering user accounts, backup procedures and tool scripts
  • Drafting and keeping up to date technical documentation and network monitoring

 

You:

  • Are a graduate of a technical university or have completed technical apprenticeship/training with a focus on IT/Computer engineering
  • Have 2 to 4 years of experience in such a role
  • Possess sound knowledge and skills when it comes to server-/client hardware, storage, visualization, operating systems etc.

  • Writing reports, articles and studies on the latest energy market developments on a regular basis
  • Innovating, developing, updating and analysing databases and charts

 

You:

  • Have a strong interest in oil, gas, and alternative energy markets as well as broader economic and political developments
  • Possess spoken and written fluency in English (preference for native speaker); fluency in German, Arabic, Mandarin or Russian are additional advantages
  • Have solid analytical skills and a natural interest in numbers
  • Have a high level of computer proficiency and demonstrable working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel; working knowledge of VBA, Python, SQL or similar programmes are an additional asset
